Sickfixation 2008 to 2024 so far:
It all began when i started playing bass in 2001 and did a few gigs with a band I formed called ‘Santa Sangra’
But when that split in 2003 and i went back to drums again. Continuing to write songs and lyrics in my home made studio. Thinking that while I was putting together demos for the band I was playing drums in I could also put together something for a new solo project.
I had been writing songs for a 5th CD for the band I played drums in and there were more songs on my files that were too heavy for our singer at that time. So a lot of them I thought I would keep for this new project.
And so I started to put together a list of around 6 or 7 of my favourite tunes to make a solo demo and possibly go into the studio (No Machine) and Record the best of them…

2021 “Who In Hell Is Nüj?” an autobiography. Due to the lockdown Sickfixation didn’t make any new music and also could not record in the studio. This also lead to the failure of putting together the first live shows with the Valium Angel video lineup.
So instead Nüj started working on his life story and working via email with a good friend they both managed to write and publish his life story that is available in paperback and Kindle on Amazon. The book called “Who In Hell Is Nüj?” is The official Autobiography of Nüj Farrow with Angie Shingleton ©2021

2023 “Handing in my keys to heaven” Comes the new album Along side the second book from Nüj “Handing in my keys to heaven” covering mostly the tales of a religious upbringing and the more in-depth details of a life with alcohol addiction that comes to a near fatal end after moving house pressure and stress of “handing in his keys “ only to end up back at the start …(yet again).
